FlixBus launches Line 666 to Hel
FlixBus line 666 to Hel starts direct summer services from Krakow and Warsaw, with daily trips and tickets now on sale.
FlixBus announced a new direct service to the Hel Peninsula. The FlixBus line 666 to Hel will run from Kraków and Warsaw and tickets are now on sale.
Route, schedule and what the number means
The service departs Kraków at 06:00 and leaves Warsaw at 10:30. It arrives on Hel at 19:25. Moreover, the line stops at major resorts such as Władysławowo, Chałupy, Kuźnica, Jastarnia and Jurata. Consequently, passengers can reach most of the peninsula with one booking. The operator says the bus will run daily through the summer season. Therefore, travellers can plan flexible trips without booking complicated connections.
FlixBus line 666 to Hel: practical details
The carrier will also serve over 50 coastal towns in season. In addition, passengers can book tickets via the app or the website. Moreover, about 65 percent of buses accept bicycles in the luggage hold. Also, nearly half the fleet offers lifts for people with reduced mobility. Consequently, the service aims to meet summer demand and boost regional tourism. The company also announced that from 2026 partners must equip new vehicles with alcolock systems.
Why this matters for expats and visitors
Hel and the nearby towns attract large crowds every summer. Therefore, transport capacity and timing matter for accommodation planning. If you arrive late, taxis can run expensive. However, public transport and shared shuttles remain cheaper. Moreover, a single direct route simplifies travel for families and groups. Consequently, the new connection reduces the need for car hire and avoids parking headaches on the peninsula.
FlixBus also plans two new stops in Warsaw near Wilanowska and Imielin metro stations. However, Warsaw Zachodnia remains the operator’s main hub with hundreds of daily departures. Moreover, the firm promotes easy coastal access and hopes to relieve pressure on regional services. Therefore, expect higher capacity and simpler connections compared to previous seasons.
For expats, the link between major cities and the coast creates more leisure options. In addition, it supports weekend escapes without driving. Consequently, you can enjoy Poland’s beaches while avoiding summer traffic stress.
