Błażej Król Live at the Warsaw Uprising Museum

Błażej Król performs July 25 in Park of Freedom. Warsaw Uprising Museum concert debuts songs from the new album.

On Saturday, July 25, Błażej Król will perform in the Park of Freedom at the Warsaw Uprising Museum. The Warsaw Uprising Museum concert will debut songs from the album “Łączy nas…”, created for the 82nd anniversary of the Uprising.

Warsaw Uprising Museum concert: what to expect

The event starts in the evening and takes place outdoors in the museum park. Consequently, organisers arranged temporary traffic and parking measures. Moreover, visitors should expect crowds and heavier foot traffic near the museum. Therefore, plan transport in advance to avoid delays.

Traffic, parking and road closures

City authorities put no-parking signs along Przyokopowa on Thursday, July 23, at 18:00. In addition, signs stand on both sides along the entire museum wall. Consequently, the signs note possible towing at the owner’s cost, and they remain in force until the end of Saturday. On the concert day, Saturday July 25, Przyokopowa will close from 17:00 until the end of the day. Cars cannot pass between Giełdowa and Grzybowska during that period. From Giełdowa and from parking behind Przyokopowa 26, drivers may exit only toward Prosta. Finally, the municipality said further changes will happen on July 30 and August 2 for the anniversary events.

Practical impact and transport advice

If you drive, move your car before signs apply, or risk towing. However, public transport works as an efficient alternative in central Warsaw. Moreover, ride-hailing and taxis will operate, but expect longer waits. Therefore, leave more travel time for pickup or drop-off. In addition, cyclists may find detours near the museum park. The museum itself remains a focal point for commemorations and music alike.

Why this matters for visitors and residents

The museum hosts ceremonies each year, and this concert links culture with remembrance. Consequently, the event attracts locals and tourists. Moreover, the album “Łączy nas…” marks the 82nd anniversary with new material. Therefore, expect media presence and busy streets. In addition, restaurants and cafes nearby may have higher demand. Plan for alternative meeting points if you meet friends near Przyokopowa.

💡 GOOD TO KNOW: Move your vehicle before the no-parking signs appear to avoid towing and a fine (“mandat” means a fine). You may need ID to collect a towed car, so bring your documents. PESEL is the Polish personal ID number used in many official processes. ZUS (social insurance) and NFZ (public health insurer) handle different services in Poland, unrelated to parking but helpful to know for residency tasks. Use public transport if possible, and check www.1944.pl for official updates.
