Rzeszów: Bus routes via Wisłokostrada and Elgasa
Rzeszów bus changes in September extend routes via Wisłokostrada and Elgasa, altering 13 lines and schedules for commuters and students.
From September Rzeszów will alter several municipal bus routes and add stops along Wisłokostrada and Elgasa. Rzeszów bus changes aim to improve links to new housing, schools, and the city ring road.
New routes, extended services and why they matter
The city will extend line 44 along Dworaka, Maczka and Lubelska to Trembeckiego. Moreover, the line will now connect areas that previously lacked direct service. Consequently, passengers who used to end trips at the Dworak market will gain new options. Line 57 will also extend to Słocińska. In addition, it will run through Elgasa, the new connector between Armii Krajowej and Wieniawskiego. Therefore, residents along that corridor will see more reliable daily service.
Which lines change and local goals
The transit authority will add stops after neighborhood and council requests. Lines 8 and 20 will serve Pogwizdów Nowy and Rudna Wielka. Moreover, line 47 gains stops on Ustrzycka and extends to Ciepłownicza. Line 61 will stretch to Rocha and call at Św. Walentego. Consequently, Matysówka residents will see better links. The city adjusted services for the school year. Selected line 19 trips will serve Przybyszówka so pupils can reach Primary School No. 25. In addition, line 33 will run more school-day trips. Line 58 will stop at additional locations outside Rzeszów. Therefore families and commuters will have more direct rides to education and work.
Service frequency, cancellations and practical effects
Line 43 will change from a supplementary service into a core route. Consequently, buses will run much more often. The new schedule will link Zawiszy with the hospital on Lwowska and the Krasne shopping centre. However, the city will withdraw line 7 entirely. In practice, line 43 will cover much of line 7’s path and passengers can transfer to reach former stops. Moreover, infrequent trips on line 62 will cease to boost trips on line 33. Finally, weekday service to Słocińska will shift from line 46 to the extended line 57. Additionally, the municipality of Łańcut will change Albigowa timetables after a local request.

Thirteen lines will change in total. Visit the municipal transport authority site for full details. Note that ZTM (Zarząd Transportu Miejskiego) plans the routes and MPK operates many buses. Consequently, updated timetables will appear soon on einfo.erzeszow.pl. Moreover, the changes reflect local council input and neighborhood petitions.
