💡 GOOD TO KNOW: If you are an expat, bring an ID when you visit public offices. In Poland institutions often ask for a PESEL (national ID number) for benefits. For social and health matters, ZUS (Social Insurance Institution) and NFZ (National Health Fund) handle pensions and basic healthcare respectively. You can still attend cultural events without residency documents. However you may need ID to collect free tickets or use health consultations. Contact organisers by phone to confirm access and language support.
