Jary Oddział Zamknięty and CamaSutra will headline the Kurów county harvest festival, while officials decide on the venue and programme details.

The county of Puławy announced today that it signed a contract to stage this year’s county harvest festival, and Jary Oddział Zamknięty and CamaSutra will headline the event. Moreover, officials say the dożynki will thank farmers and celebrate local traditions. However, the exact location still awaits a final decision.

Agreement and venue debate

Starosta Teresa Gutowska and Kurow mayor Arkadiusz Małecki signed the deal. Consequently, the city and county now coordinate the event planned for late August. Jary Oddział Zamknięty formed in 2013 when Krzysztof Jaryczewski, the original vocalist of the classic band Oddział Zamknięty, re-established a line-up. Moreover, former OZ singer Zbyszek Bieniak joined that project. Therefore, the new group performs many familiar hits and appeals to fans of Polish rock from the 1980s. In addition, CamaSutra will supply lighter, danceable disco polo rhythms. The band started in 2013 and features vocalist Małgorzata Główka.
